The educational program will open on November 28 with the lecture “World trends in the development of media business” by Alexey Krasnov, deputy general manager of Gazprom-Media Holding. He will talk about key global trends in the media field, the stages of building the media industry, as well as the monetization models of major players on the media market.

Alexander Reshetnyak, Gazprom-Media Holding’s director of strategy, will tell students about the media business in the era of digital platforms and short attention spans. The second lecture of the day will be by Daria Pugacheva, director of Gazprom-Media Holding’s research department. Her lecture will be on “Evolution of measurements”. Galina Degtyareva, director of the investment and analytical department of Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV, will talk to students about venture capital investments in the media. The cycle of lectures will wrap up with a presentation by Lili Sherozia, TV-3 channel’s marketing director, in which students will learn about marketing and creativity in the digital age.

“As a leading media holding in Russia and Eastern Europe, we consider it our duty to share knowledge with future experts, to tell them about modern realities and trends in the media industry. Today, the students are learning from us, but tomorrow they will become part of the media space and will determine its coordinates themselves,” said Erika Kuyantseva, Gazprom-Media’s human resources director.
