Gazprom Media was created January 21, 1998, by PJSC Gazprom to manage its media assets.

We strengthened our positions as a media market leader, acquiring the TNT and NTV television channels, the NTV-Plus satellite operator, the Sem Dney publishing house and the Ekho Moskvy radio station.

We launched two new radio stations (Relax FM and Detskoe Radio), acquired a 51% share in the Media Press publishing house (Panorama TV magazine), and purchased the Rutube video service.

We created the Vokrug TV online TV guide, Gazprom Media Sales House for selling advertising on our TV channels and radio stations, and Gazprom Media Digital, which sells video ads on Runet.

We acquired Comedy Club Production and Good Story Media studios, the Central Partnership film company, three TV channels (TV-3, Friday! and 2x2), Red Media, and several radio stations (Avtoradio, Radio Energy, Radio Romantika and Humor FM).

Using interactive technologies, we launched the Like FM radio station and created the Match TV nationwide television channel and GPM Match, our sports subholding (specialty channels and digital resources).

We launched channel TNT4, created the KIT Film Studio and the Ruform video distribution network, and established a single advertising sales department, the National Advertising Alliance (NAA), of which we control 25% of the shares.

We launched the Super family channel and Match Premier sports channel (together with the Russian Premier League) and created the PREMIER video service, which offers our exclusive content.

We launched Match! Strana, a Russian sports TV channel, and created the White Nights company to distribute auteur films. We also launched Kvant, together with MaximaTelecom, for advertising technologies and big data.
