Ivan Kim appointed head of the Communications Directorate at Gazprom-Media Holding

Gazprom-Media Holding is announcing the appointment of Ivan Kim as the head of the Communications Directorate. In this role, Ivan will be responsible for the development and implementation of the public relations and marketing strategy, the laying out of effective external communications, and the representation of the Holding’s interests in the business environment.

Before joining the Gazprom-Media team, Ivan held various management positions in the telecommunications industry, and worked in Russian and foreign PR agencies. In 2014, he founded the Agency of Political and Business Communications, which specialises in carrying out complex projects in government and public relations.

Education and work experience:

Ivan Kim graduated from the Tyumen State Oil and Gas University. In 2011, he received an MBA in political and business communications from the Higher School of Economics. 

He started working in the telecommunications industry in 2003 at the Southern Telecommunications Company. In 2007, he was invited to Rostelecom where he held various management positions: advisor to the CEO, press secretary, head of the information support department. From 2016 to 2021 he worked in TransTeleCom as the head of the public relations and communications department.
