Thus, Gazprom-Media Holding and Beijing Auranova Technology & Culture Media agreed to cooperate in research and development in the field of film technologies based on artificial intelligence. The potential for cooperation will also be assessed in the direction of production and distribution of animated content.
The two companies defined as enhancing the use of artificial intelligence technologies on the digital platforms of Gazprom-Media Holding and Chinese platforms as an important area of cooperation. In addition, joint work will be conducted in the direction of applying artificial intelligence for creating scripts, complex graphics, and developing character images for artistic animation and films.
A future meeting, agreed upon by the parties during the signing of the agreement in Beijing, will be held with the participation of representatives of the digital assets of Gazprom-Media Holding. Among other things, the application of developments from Chinese partners on the Holding’s digital platforms will be discussed.
Gazprom-Media Holding pays special attention to the development of international cooperation in the information sphere, as well as in the production and distribution of media content, including jointly produced content.
Earlier in May of this year, Gazprom-Media Holding and the Chinese news agency Xinhua signed a cooperation agreement during the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russia.
In addition, during the visit of the Gazprom-Media Holding delegation to India to participate in the first World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), a number of agreements were signed with Indian companies, specializing in new media.
