Gazprom-Media, the
leading diversified media holding in Russia and Eastern Europe, and Russian
Railways have reached an agreement to show the holding’s best entertainment TV
projects on high-speed Sapsan trains. For the first time, TV series and shows
of the TNT and Friday! television channels will be available to passengers on
the trains that connect Moscow and St. Petersburg.
From December 1, Sapsan passengers will be able to watch TNT and Friday! cult favourites for free when they connect to the onboard Wi-Fi network and access the interactive infotainment portal. This resource will provide access to 1,500 hours of entertainment content, including the series Olga, Fizruk (Gym Teacher), Univer, Interns, and the shows Comedy Club, Comedy Women, Gde logika? (Where is the Logic?), Veru ne Veru (I Believe, I Don’t Believe) and Eda Ya Lublyu Tebya (Food, I Love You), among others.
The Sapsan multi-media online portal offers passengers news, train schedules, information about the trains, as well as entertainment content, including films, music and audio books. The home page of the resource now also has a tab featuring the brands of the Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV projects.
“We always strive to be closer to the audience and to show our content in any environments where it is convenient for people to watch it. The Gazprom-Media Holding has a huge media library of original projects that million of spectators love. It is nice that now Sapsan passengers will be introduced to our best shows. This includes the employees of Gazprom who often make trips on this route. Time will fly by unnoticed and enjoyably while watching popular shows and series,” said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Gazprom-Media Holding CEO.
