The psychological drama Polyot (The Flight), directed and written by Pyotr Todorovsky Jr., produced by Valeriy Fedorovich and Evgeny Nikishov and starring Oksana Akinshina, Nikita Efremov, Yulia Khlynina and Pavel Tabakov, will be TNT’s first series premiere in 2021.
Polyot is a story about how one missed flight can drastically change the lives of several people. The show centers on employees of a Moscow construction company who are planning to fly to Perm, but once they get to the departure hall, they realize that they are at the wrong airport. A little later they find out that the plane they were supposed to take crashed immediately after takeoff. This narrow escape from death and the stress they experience makes them think deeper about life, reconsider its meaning, and try to understand what they really want out of it.
