NTV channel has started filming the second season of the action-packed detective series Rikoshet (Ricochet). The main character of the series will be played by theatre and film actor Aleksandr Ustyugov.

The series tells the story of Artyom Volkov, the last hero of the wild 1990s, who returns to his provincial hometown after 20 years and finds himself drawn into the schemes of the criminal underworld. The first season premiered online on March 30, 2020 as part of the prestigious MIPTV’s Drama Buyers Summit program. Rikoshet was the only Russian project that the media industry experts chose. NTV started broadcasting the detective series on April 6, 2020 and it became the most popular series in terms of search queries, surpassing both Russian and foreign competitors.
