The parties discussed the development of cooperation in the fields of cinema, television, and content distribution, as well as ideas for joint projects aimed at strengthening cultural ties between Russia and Serbia.

One of the meeting’s key topics was the discussion of the show Survive in Serbia (Vyzhit v Serbii). The parties noted the project’s high potential to promote the country as an attractive tourist destination for the Russian audience, boasting its rich cultural and natural heritage. During the meeting, Gazprom-Media Holding representatives handed over materials on the show to the Serbian side for further discussion. The parties expressed their readiness to proceed to the detailed development of the filming process, location selection, and mutual approval of implementation timelines.

The meeting participants also discussed the prospects of joint movie production and mutual content distribution. In particular, they talked about creating movies dedicated to historical figures and events connecting Russia and Serbia. The Serbian side has submitted several synopses for possible co-production between the two countries.

“Serbia is interested in developing joint media projects with Russia, including those aimed at promoting the tourist potential of our country. We welcome specific practical steps and proposals from our partners. We would like to particularly note the mutual interest in co-producing content dedicated to the historical connection between the two countries, as well as the potential of fairy tale movie formats.”
