​Soundtrack to TV-3’s new film Avanpost among winners at Global Music Awards in USA

The soundtrack to the fantasy dilogy Avanpost (The Outpost) won a prize at the Global Music Awards. Ryan Otter wrote the music for the film. He previously also won at the Global Music Awards for the soundtrack to the Gogol trilogy.

Global Music Awards is a popular international music competition whose jury picks the best independent musicians. The first awards were given out in 2011. It is recognized among professionals of the music industry and is considered a golden seal of approval of the musician's talent and skills.

Avanpost was made by TV-3’s own studio, 1-2-3 Production. The project will be made up of two films in the fantasy thriller genre. The first film will be released in Russian cinemas on September 12, 2019. Ilya Kulikov, who is known for the TV series Chernobyl. Zona Otchuzhdeniya (Chernobyl. Estranged Zone), Zakon Kamennyh Djunglei (Rules of the Stone Jungle), Politseysky s Rublyovki (Policeman from Rublyovka) and others, wrote the film’s script. Yegor Baranov, who worked on the Gogol film franchise, directed the dilogy, while TV-3’s director Valery Fyodorovich and the channel’s chief producer Yevgeny Nikishov stepped up as the film’s producers. Aleksey Chadov, Pyotr Fyodorov and Lukerya Ilyashenko play the lead roles in Avanpost.

A private screening of Avanpost was held at the Moscow International House of Music on September 12, 2018. The film’s first viewers saw it to the live accompaniment of a symphony orchestra, which involved 52 musicians. The film’s composer Ryan Otter wrote a separate score for this screening.
