In the lead up to the 75th anniversary celebrations of Victory Day, the PREMIER video platform (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) will give its users the opportunity to talk about the heroic actions of their loved ones, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and to honour these heroes by sharing their memories with millions of fellow video service users.

This year the annual celebration that takes place on May 9 will look different due to the coronavirus pandemic. All mass events are cancelled and people will remain at home.

The team at PREMIER feels the importance of uniting on its platform those who want to tell about their loved ones and their heroism, to thank all veterans and to celebrate Victory Day together. To do so, PREMIER is launching a special campaign, open to anyone who wishes to take part. Participants can send in photographs of their relatives, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, to a special email (9may@premier.one) until May 3, along with a description of their war journey. Detailed rules about the campaign are available on the website http://9may.premier.one.

PREMIER’s team will combine the submissions it receives into a common video in which the veterans will come together once again in a victorious march. The final video in their honour will appear on PREMIER’s homepage on May 9.

The memorial campaign will also feature the stars and actors of the TV series that have come out on the PREMIER platform, including Domashny Arest (Home Arrest), Epidemiya (The Epidemic), Call Center, Uchitelya (Teachers), and Mertvoe Ozero (The Dead Lake), among others. The company’s employees will also share stories of their family’s war heroes.
