Gazprom-Media representatives speak at Serebryany Merkurii festival

A festival that celebrates creativity in marketing communications Serebryany Merkurii was held in the cinema Gorizont in Moscow from June 6-7. Leading specialists in the field of advertising and marketing discussed modern trends in their industry. Gazprom-Media representatives took part in the discussion panel “200 years of successful marketing.”

This year Gazprom-Media Holding is celebrating its 20th anniversary and in honour of the date, a large-scale educational project was launched. The director of Gazprom-Media’s corporate development department, Elena Nikolaeva, talked about the main initiatives that make up this project, which is targeted at the employees of the holding’s companies, as well as representatives of the media industry, partners and clients.

“We have collected a rich and weighty expertise in the media industry over the years and we are ready to share it. We can say a lot about the journey that the company underwent and list the achievements that we are proud of, but we understand that today we need to be even more active in helping our businesses develop in the chosen direction. As part of our jubilee, we created a platform for the discussion of ideas and trends, which are determining the development of the media and advertisement industries,” said Elena Nikolaeva.

The series of educational events is being held under a specially developed brand #GPMtrendy (Gazprom-Media Trends). These are discussions, master classes and creative workshops from leading experts in the media field. The participants get to hear presentations by the heads of the holding’s businesses - creative producers, heads of the television channels and radio stations. All of the events are timed to coincide with significant dates for the sub-holdings. The first meeting took place on March 30 ahead of the release of the film Gogol. Viy. More than 170 people took part in the discussion, which was dedicated to the creation and promotion of series content on TV-3 channel (part of Gazprom-Media).

One of the most popular radio stations in Russia, Avtoradio, is celebrating its anniversary along with Gazprom-Media Holding this year. It turned 25 years. At the discussion panel, the deputy editor-in-chief of Avtoradio, Vladimir Pichugin, shared with the festival participants how Avtoradio’s anniversary projects are helping to promote the brand. He spoke about the large-scale nine-hour radio marathon on the day of the anniversary, which reached 1.1 million views on the radio station’s website.
