NTV Returns to Kyrgyzstan cover

A ceremonial presentation and official launch of the new Nomad TV television channel took place in Bishkek. The channel will focus on international topics and the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in global processes, as well as expanding humanitarian and cultural cooperation with the Russian Federation. In addition to its own content, Nomad TV will broadcast programs from the Russian NTV TV channel, broadcasting of which was discontinued in 2022.

“For us, this is not just a project. For us, this is not just television. For us, it is part of a common informational and cultural space that unites millions of people in our countries. Therefore, I sincerely wish us all success.”

Aleksandra Kosharnitskaya Editor-in-Chief at NTV

Broadcasting will be conducted in Russian, with an optional Kyrgyz audio track available. Nomad TV signal will be distributed through digital broadcasting, as well as through the largest cable networks. This will make it possible to reach the vast majority of the country’s population, including remote regions.
