Dubai International Content Market, a key event for distributors, TV channels, and VOD platforms, took place in Dubai. Gazprom-Media Holding projects were presented at the ROSKINO stand, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
· NTV. Agreements have been reached with two distribution companies. Negotiations for the sale of series are underway with local online platforms. Negotiations are also ongoing for the adaptation of a thriller series for a foreign audience. Increased interest in many projects in various formats was noted.
· Central Partnership. More than 30 meetings were held in two days. Negotiations are underway with companies from the Middle East, India, South Asian countries, Turkey, and South Africa. A deal with Turkish partners has been completed, and negotiations are underway for deals in the Middle East on a number of projects. New contacts for content procurement in the aviation business have been added.
· YARKO animation company. 20 meetings with partners from the Emirates, Egypt, India, Oman, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Italy, and other countries. The teenage series «Technolike», with the Russian premiere scheduled for December, attracted special attention. There was also high interest in feature-length projects and sports-themed series. As a result of the negotiations, deals in new areas are expected.
The Middle East is one of Russia’s key areas of international cooperation. Gazprom-Media Holding is actively involved in this area and is expanding strong ties with international partners, communicating Russian core themes and traditional values.
