The documentary drama sparked considerable interest among viewers. The repeated screening will take place at the Russian House on December 1. Admission is with free tickets.
This week, viewers will also see the film «Pyotr I: posledniy tsar i pervyy imperator» (Peter the Great: The Last Tsar and the First Emperor). Both films were produced by Gazprom-Media Holding, commissioned by and with the support of Gazprom PJSC, as part of the Rus historical series, which chronicles the events and personalities at the origins of modern Russia. The film is produced by 1-2-3 Production.
In addition to the film program, the Hermitage Days will feature the exhibition «Empresses. Costumes from the Film», which showcases the dresses of great women, recreated by honored artist of Russia Ekaterina Shapkaitz for the eponymous film. The exhibition is organized by the Gazprom Cultural Initiatives Foundation as part of the Friends of St. Petersburg project’ creative laboratory.
The second Hermitage Days in Serbia started on November 17. This is an international cultural project organized by the State Hermitage and Gazprom Neft and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia. The program includes exhibitions, lectures, creative meetings, and screenings of films dedicated to Russian cultural heritage.
