A special screening of the thriller Identifikatsiya (Identification), directed by Vladlena Sandu, was held at the Berlin International Film Festival as part of the European Film Market. The screening for the professional community was held at Zoo Palast, Berlin’s best-known movie theatre which served as the main platform of the film festival. Festival guests saw the first episode of the Premier Studios drama project.
The rising star of European film, Lena Tronina, performed the lead role in the Identifikatsiya series. Earlier, the premiere of another drama in which she starred, Kids Run by director Barbara Ott, was held as part of the Berlin Film Festival - it got the honour of opening the fashionable part of the festival, Perspektive Deutsches Kino.
The world premiere of the Identifikatsiya series took place in March 2019 at the main competition of the Series Mania international festival in France. The series was first shown in Russia in April 2019 as part of the “Pervaya Seriya” program of the 41st Moscow International Film Festival. The series was also featured in the main program of the 25th Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF).
