Over the course of four days, 178 top media experts will participate in discussions, master classes and public talks to share views about the present and future of the new media industry and the development of national video hosting services. A pitching for startups will also be held.

Gazprom-Media Holding is curating the “New Media” pavilion at Russian Creative Week 2021, which will be held from 26-29 August in Moscow’s Gorky Park. Top media representatives and experts will gather there to discuss current issues in the industry, and to hold master classes and startup pitching sessions.

Some of the key topics to be discussed at the pavilion’s sessions include the creation of cutting-edge content, the future of OTT platforms, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in media and in business, and the prospects of sports and children’s content.

Guest speakers at the “New Media” pavilion include Alexander Zharov, Sergey Shnurov, Yulia Golubeva, top managers from various media holdings, famous bloggers, actors and journalists. Tina Kandelaki, Ksenia Boletskaya, Dmitry Barchenkov and Susanna Alperina will be among the session moderators. 

A separate day will be dedicated to discussions about RUTUBE. The platform’s CEO Alexey Nazarov and the State Duma deputy Anton Gorelkin will discuss the main growth vectors for Russian video hosting services. Bloggers, the new opinion leaders in today’s society, will share life hacks about creating quality content and monetising it.

Gazprom-Media Holding will also host a session called “Media of the future: New rules of the global game” as part of Russian Creative Week’s business program. The discussion’s participants include the Holding’s CEO Alexander Zharov, general manager of STS Media Vyacheslav Murugov and deputy general manager of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) Alexander Nechaev. Russian journalist and Forbes editorial director Nikolay Uskov will moderate the session.
