​Gazprom-Media Holding receives Grand Prix and record number of awards at Media Manager of Russia 2018

The ceremony for the national awards in the field of media business Media Manager of Russia 2018 was held on July 5. Seven representatives of Gazprom-Media Holding won the main prizes. The Holding also received the Grand Prix.

“The awards are the success of our whole team and a well-deserved reason for feeling proud. We are grateful to the experts and the jury for recognizing the talents of our media managers, who shape the modern Russian media industry and push it forward,” said Dmitry Chernyshenko, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding.

In 2018 the Grand Prix of the awards went to the general manager of Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television Arthur Dzhanibekyan for the development and management of the company’s entertainment television channels, outstanding achievements in creating in-demand content for Russian television and increasing the presence of television content in the digital sphere. Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television brings together six television channels TNT, TV-3, Friday!, 2x2, TNT4 and Super, as well as the production companies Comedy Club Production and Good Story Media, three of its channels’ own studios Friday! Studio, Animation Studio 2x2 and 123 Production. Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television accounts for a 20.4% share in the most in-demand television audience segment aged 14 to 44. Its television channels are watched by every fifth inhabitant of Russia.

The heads of TV-3 channel received two awards in the “Electronic media” nomination for the category “Television. On-air channels”. The channel’s general manager Valery Fyodorovich and chief producer Evgeny Nikishov won the prize for the innovative solutions they offered in the junction between film and television. TV-3 channel consistently shows growing audience indicators among viewers aged 14 to 33: in April 2018 the channel showed a record share of TV viewing over the last 10 years - 4.5%. In 2017, TV-3 was the first among Russian television channels to release a TV series in cinemas when it did so with Gogol. At the moment the channel’s objective is to become a hub for the best Russian drama series. The channel is currently working on more than 12 new series, which will be released in the 2018/19 season.

The marketing director of Friday! channel Natalia Abramochkina received an award in the “Marketing department head of the company” nomination in the category “Advertising and marketing communications.” The jury awarded her the victory for restyling the channel’s marketing strategy, which increased the channel’s KPI in promotion across all areas. In the period of Natalia Abramochkina’s leadership, the channel’s marketing department won six prestigious international awards in the field of television marketing, promotion and design at the Promax BDA Global Excellence Awards (two golds, a silver and a bronze) and Promax BDA Asia (a gold and a silver).

Fellow Friday! channel manager, creative digital director Artemy Gladchenko, won in the “Internet mass media” nomination in the category “Online media.” He received the main award for creating innovative digital cases and new trends in digital marketing. In just one year of Artemy Gladchenko serving as creative digital director, the coverage and number of subscribers to Friday! digital platforms has tripled.

The creative director of Gazprom-Media Radio Oleg Lomovoy received an award in the “Electronic media” nomination, “Radio. Federal radio stations” category for introducing creative projects and unique innovative solutions. The director of Gazprom-Media Radio’s branches in Yekaterinburg and Perm Grigory Gilevich also received an award for his contributions to the development of the radio industry.
