Gazprom media, the leading diversified media holding in Russia and Eastern Europe, announced the appointment of Vadim Fedotov as General Manager of Rutube.
In his new position, Mr. Fedotov will be responsible for management of Gazprom media digital assets , including Rutube, online-theatres Now.ru and Zoomby. He will also supervise the strategy of development of Gazprom media digital assets, aimed at increasing the share of content distribution through digital platforms.
Before joining the company since 2011 Vadim Fedotov headed the division of a public company Groupon Russia and Ukraine, the leading global player in the field of e-commerce. "The appointment of Vadim Fedotov is another important step in digital business development. We plan to actively promote our media platforms in the Internet. Biography of Vadim Fedotov
He was born on January 19, 1985 in St. Petersburg.
He graduated with honors from the University of New York Buffalo State College (United States) under the program "Business Administration" with specialization "International Business" and "Marketing".
He worked in Barkawi Management Consultants GmbH & Co.KG. as Director of the Department of procurement optimization from 2009 to 2011.
In 2011 he joined the Russian division of Groupon as Director of Sales. Since August 2012 - the general director of "Groupon Russia." In 2013 he headed Groupon's Russia and Ukraine department.
