Gazprom-Media Holding and MosKino agreed to promote Russian cinema on the international stage

Gazprom-Media Holding and MosKino agreed to promote Russian cinema on the international stage cover

At the Moscow International Film Week, Gazprom-Media Holding and MosKino signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by the Deputy General Director of the Holding, Boris Khanchalyan, and the General Director of ANO MosKino, Georgy Prokopov.

The goal of the partnership is the joint creation and promotion of films for Russian and international audiences, as well as the popularization of Moscow’s image as a unique creative cluster.

«Gazprom-Media Holding highly values such partnerships. By combining the expertise of the country’s leading media holding and the resources of MosKino, representing one of the most creative capitals in the world, the city of Moscow, we plan to produce projects that can proudly represent Russian culture and gain recognition from a global audience».

Boris Khanchalyan Deputy CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding

«Collaboration with such a large holding as Gazprom-Media is important for two main reasons. First of all, the agreement emphasizes the significance of the Moscow film cluster for the domestic film industry. And secondly, Gazprom-Media Holding strengthens its work in the international direction, which is one of our priorities for both organizing joint project shootings in the capital and promoting Moscow’s image abroad».

Georgy Prokopov General Director of ANO MosKino

The holding and MosKino will exchange experience and technologies in film production, organize joint cultural events, and provide each other with informational support.

MosKino will also provide Gazprom-Media Holding access to modern venues in the Moscow International Film Cluster: the MosKino film park and film factory for project shootings.
