Gazprom-Media Holding took part in the All-Russian Forum of Medical Volunteers

Medical Volunteers, an all-Russian social movement, conducted an interactive discussion, entitled “From Successful Cooperation to Effective Partnership”, in Moscow on August 8, the organization’s sixth anniversary, as part of the All-Russian Forum of Medical Volunteers. The forum seeks to strengthen the growth of regional departments, cultivate a single communication environment and build a development strategy in medical volunteering. Alfiya Gafurova, head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Gazprom-Media Holding, joined the event.
The discussion was attended by representatives from the Russian Red Cross, ANO National Priorities, Memory of Generations charitable foundation and N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health of Russia (federal state budgetary institution). The speakers shared their experience in supporting projects and events run by Medical Volunteers, and reviewed key partnership projects.
Alfiya Gafurova spoke on the importance of cooperation with volunteer organizations, shared the expertise Gazprom-Media Holding has accumulated in the area, and suggested hands-on advice on how medical volunteers could engage with regional media.

At the end of the event, the discussion participants awarded the coordinators of Medical Volunteers’ regional and local branches. Gazprom-Media Holding received a commendation for effective cooperation and implementation of joint volunteer projects.
The All-Russian Forum of Medical Volunteers was held in both offline and online formats. The forum’s offline venue was attended by 300 people, including coordinators in Medical Volunteers’ regional and local branches, area coordinators, and representatives of the movement’s command centers in the Luhansk People’s Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic.
The all-Russian Medical Volunteers social movement is one of the largest volunteer healthcare organizations in Europe. Supported by the Ministry of Health, 85 regional branches of Medical Volunteers have been launched in Russia to bring together more than 118,000 people. Medical volunteers provide help to nearly 4 million Russians every year.
