Gazprom-Media Holding
has announced the appointment of Alexey Blinov as general manager of the
publishing house Media Press, which publishes the weekly TV-guide Panorama TV
in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
The decision to appoint Alexey Blinov was accepted by a majority of votes on the Media Press Board of Directors, which took place on April 17, 2017.
Alexey Blinov has extensive experience of working in mass media, and has gone from being a columnist of Vecherny Peterburg to being the general manager of Izvestia-St. Petersburg. In 2007 to 2012, he headed the public relations department at Zenit football club. Before joining Gazprom-Media, Alexey Blinov was engaged in promoting the products of the South Korean corporation Hyundai in Russia.
“For more than 20 years the magazine Panorama TV has been an indispensable guide in St. Petersburg for those who follow the events of the television world. In its existence, the magazine earned a good reputation among the inhabitants of the northern capital and became the No.1 publication among TV guides in this region. Together with the publication team, our task is to keep our loyal audience and to strengthen the magazine’s positions on the printed press market in St. Petersburg,” said Alexey Blinov.
Igor Danilov, who previously held the post of general manager of the publishing house, will continue to work on the Board of Directors of Media Press.
