The CEO presented awards to the three winning teams of the hackathon based on the Gazprom Media case.
The Tsifrovoy Proryv (Digital Breakthrough) awards, IT’s largest team competition, were held in Moscow on December 8. Contestants had to come up with practical solutions by analyzing big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence and other technologies.
There were several stages of the competition, with the final stage taking place in Moscow. The winning teams presented their projects to the top managers of corporations and the heads of federal agencies. Industry experts also evaluated their work.
Awards ceremony guests included First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, and CEO of Gazprom Media Alexander Zharov, as well as representatives from major Russian corporations and federal agencies.
Gazprom Media participated in the project as a case holder twice this year—first at the regional stage in Nizhny Novgorod and later at the final stage in Moscow. Both cases were about protecting copyrights on video and audio content. Three teams emerged as the winners.
Zharov congratulated all the winners.
