As part of a delegation of Russian filmmakers, Aleksandr Zharov, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding, took part in a meeting between Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova and CEO of China Media Group (CMG) Shen Haixiong.
During the meeting, Aleksandr Zharov emphasized the importance of the ongoing interaction between Gazprom-Media Holding and China Media Group.
«We see this as a productive continuation of our cooperation, reflected in the bilateral memorandum signed by China Media Group and Gazprom-Media Holding during the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to China last year».
Aleksandr Zharov also thanked the Chinese partners for the support provided to Gazprom-Media Holding in producing shows in China, expressing gratitude to China Film Group for deciding to distribute the film The Wizard of the Emerald City. The Yellow Brick Road in China.
