The 5th Puteshestvie Deda Moroza s NTV (The Journey of Santa Claus with NTV) from his home in Veliky Ustyug came to an end on December 25. This year, the Journey was held online and its geographical reach extended to 36 cities for the first time. Over the course of a month, the Russian Father Frost and his assistants made dreams come true for 34 families and kids from 41 social institutions, passing out almost 10 tons of sweets while they were at it.
The holiday journey was even more magical and ambitious this year. A special studio was built in Moscow from which Father Frost, alongside stars from NTV, sent out holiday greetings to children and adults and spoke to journalists live on air. Many volunteers, stringers and kind helpers from across Russia delivered gifts and helped Father Frost work his magic.
