A discussion called “Russian digital market: Financial future of OTT platforms and video services” was held on August 26 as part of Russian Creative Week. The event took place in the “New Media” pavilion, which Gazprom-Media Holding curates. Advertising in the digital age was at the centre of the discussion.

Ekaterina Veselkova, general manager of Gazprom-Media Sales House, spoke about the advertisers’ interest in digital content:

“There is a feeling that the advertiser is heading into digital to get more coverage. There are a lot more brands as well as platforms now. Content owners and advertisers try to raise its quality. A certain type of brand will not risk switching from a good platform. All you can do is search for professional content. Our Holding stands apart thanks to its high-quality content. We see that people pay more for our digital content than the market average.”
