Svetlana Fefilova takes part in Eurasian Women’s Forum meeting at 2021 Eastern Economic Forum

Svetlana Fefilova, deputy CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding, took part in a meeting of the Eurasian Women’s Forum on September 2 as part of the business program of the Eastern Economic Forum. The meeting was titled “Continuous development: A choice or a necessity for female leaders?”

The discussion focused on the trend of investing into the continued development and self-improvement among female leaders. It also touched on the accessibility of high-quality educational content in the digital sphere in the Far East. Svetlana Fefilova spoke about the opportunities the Holding’s resources can offer in this area.

“Twenty terrestrial TV channels for the wide public became available some time ago. They are part of the digital multiplexes and five of them are created by Gazprom-Media Holding. They show content of different genres: news, sports, entertainment and educational programs. The Holding’s assets include the operator of satellite and digital television NTV-PLUS, which started broadcasting in the Far East in 2017. More than 200 special-interest channels are available to viewers on the NTV-PLUS platform, both educational and informational. This makes it possible for the region’s inhabitants to receive information in a timely manner and to have access to educational content. At the end of last year, at the Holding level, we consolidated the RUTUBE video platform. We are making it comfortable. We cut down the number of ads, which makes it safe for children, opted against user registration, and much more. Educational content is also available on the platform: lessons, master classes. We are open to cooperation with any platforms in order to have more educational content available to audience members online for free.”
