Red Media (part of the KIT Group of Companies in Gazprom-Media Holding) launched its new channel, Kinouzhas, on October 31. It will become the 17th television channel of the company’s own production and the 12th movie channel to be included in its Nastroi Kino! brand package.
Kinouzhas will air exclusive movie premieres of horror films twice a month. The movies, which have never before been shown on TV, will be broadcast on Mondays. The channel’s library will be made up of movies from major Hollywood studios (Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures), as well as Russian films — 400 hours of original movie content in total.
