The awards ceremony for Radiomania 2018, the 17th national award that recognizes the best in the Russian radio industry, was held in Moscow on August 31. The radio stations of Gazprom-Media Radio received three golden microphones. The holding’s radio stations have received 80 radio “Oscars” over the entire history of the awards, which makes it one of the Russian radio holdings with the most titles to its name.
The projects of Avtoradio and Detskoe Radio were recognized as the best in the “Network radio” category.
“We have something to be proud of this year. Today, one of our three Radiomania golden microphones marked an anniversary. Gazprom-Media Radio now has 80 golden microphones to its name. This is a complete, final, irreversible triumph, after which nobody will be able to catch up to us,” said Yury Kostin, general manager of Gazprom-Media Radio and vice president of the Radio Academy.
The main industry award went to Detskoe Radio in the nomination "Informative, analytical program" for its feature Novosti Detskogo Radio (Detskoe Radio News).
Another golden microphone from Radiomania-2018 was added to Avtoradio’s already impressive collection. The radio station’s channel on YouTube got top marks in the “Promotion of a radio station in the digital environment” nomination.
St. Petersburg’s Radio Zenit won in the “Radio show” nomination of the “Regional radio stations” category for its entertaining radio program Ni v Kakie Vorota Show (Not Acceptable in Any Way).
