Top managers of Gazprom-Media Holding and representatives of 2x2 TV channel made an official visit to the Don State Technical University (DGTU) on April 12-13 to discuss possible areas of cooperation.
During the official visit, the Gazprom-Media Holding delegation was shown the university’s infrastructure and given information about the scientific, cultural and sports projects that are in the works on the university’s premises.
The university’s students also presented their animation and television projects during the visit. These were assessed by the creative team of 2x2 TV channel, which is part of Gazprom-Media Holding. The channel’s representatives noted that they see opportunities for cooperation in the field of animation. For example, 2x2 is considering recruiting the university’s students to work on the visualisation, character and background development for the “adult animation” industry. Another possibility for cooperation is the creation of student teams to lead “adult animation” projects. The third avenue for cooperation is for students to create animation for Gazprom-Media Holding.
