On August 23, the third season of the bold social experiment, the reality show Patsanky (Tomboys), will launch on Friday! TV channel.
The participants of the third season are not just young women from dysfunctional families. They are those who were abandoned by relatives and whose own parents are afraid of. Still, the tough and uncontrollable "tomboys" found the strength to ask for help and try to start their lives from scratch. Professional psychologists, trainers and coaches will work with the women that parents, schools and police officers could not “tame”. The creators of the project insist that to begin this great transformation, these girls need sympathy and empathy as never before.
Thirteen girls from different cities in Russia were cast for the project. They will be in the spotlight with the cameras on them for several months. For them, Patsanky is the last chance to change themselves and their lives for the better.
The TV project Patsanky has received multiple national and international awards. For this project, Friday! channel received a TEFI in the “Reality show” nomination, and a gold and silver at the the PromaxBDA Asia awards for the promo clip to Patsanky 2.
The second season, Patsanky 2, became one of the channel’s most successful premieres in 2017. According to Mediascope, the share of the show’s viewership reached 8.3% among viewers aged 14–44.
