An excerpt from the film Not Listed was shown to Vladimir Putin during a meeting with youth at the Knowledge.First educational marathon. The event took place at the Victory Museum from April 28 to 30 and was dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in the Great Fatherland War. Over three days, war veterans, defenders of the Fatherland, war correspondents, statesmen, economists, scientists, and figures of culture and art discussed the role of the Great Patriotic War in Russian history and its significance for Russians.

«Information about the heroic days of the Great Patriotic War must be poignant, authentic, and truthful. Only then will it reach the heart. Of course, such works of art – and this is undoubtedly a work of art – serve this purpose and work as I have said. Moreover, Vasiliev’s books are well-known, and cinematic works have been released thanks to these books, such as The Dawns Here Are Quiet, Tomorrow Was the War, and so on».

We are descendants of great heroes, and we inherit an unyielding character, willpower, and the ability to love. All of this needs to be written about. Films need to be made.
