MTS (NYSE: MBT, MOEX: MTSS), a leading Russian digital, media and telecommunication services company, and Red Media TV company, which is part of Gazprom-Media Holding through GPM KIT Group of Companies, have announced the extension of their cooperation agreement. The agreement covers the distribution of TV channels and also provides for the inclusion of the new TV channel ZVEZDA Plus into the distribution packages across all media platforms.
The subscribers of MTS’ television services got access to the ZVEZDA Plus TV channel in all broadcasting environments starting on June 1. ZVEZDA Plus is a new television channel from Red Media with highly-rated educational and entertainment content along the military, patriotic and historical themes. The TV channel began broadcasting in February 2021.
