Like FM radio station (part of Gazprom-Media Radio) and Yandex have launched a joint project in which the radio broadcast is hosted by Yandex’s voice assistant, the artificial intelligence Alice. On May 22 Alice will be the only radio station host. As her representatives explained, Alice does not make mistakes, embellish reality, get sick or tired of working remotely.
Alice herself will decide what to tell radio listeners. She will select music based on her mood, share new songs, give weather updates, make jokes and host her own morning show. Radio listeners will be able to tune in to the station and speak to Alice through Yandex.Station, as well as other smart speakers.
