The Russian fantasy film Avanpost (The Blackout) will be one of the first large-scale foreign premieres in Japan after the lockdown measures are lifted. The post-apocalyptic thriller starring Pyotr Fyodorov and Aleksey Chadov will come out in the land of the rising sun on June 12 on more than 100 screens. The corresponding agreement was signed by Central Partnership (part of Gazprom-Media Holding), which manages the international rights of the film, and the distributor New Select, an independent Japanese company with a nearly 50-year history.
