​Gazprom-Media companies present their projects at Comic Con Russia festival

The international festival of pop culture Comic Con Russia took place in Moscow from October 4 to 7. Festival visitors got a chance to talk with the actors of TV series and films, look at the bright display stands of the festival participants, and find out about the new releases in the world of film and animation. TV-3, NTV, 2x2 and Central Partnership presented their projects at the event.

TV-3

TV-3 channel presented its project Chernobyl. Zona Otchuzhdeniya (Chernobyl. Estranged Zone), the full-length sequel to one of the most popular Russian TV series for teenagers. The stars of the series Konstantin Davydov, Kristina Kazinskaya, Sergey Romanovich, Anvar Khalilulayev, Valeria Dmitrieva and Ilya Shcherbinin announced that there is a surprise awaiting the fans: instead of one film, three films will be released simultaneously next year. The films will start at the same point, but have three different endings.

The channel also held the first public screening of the film series Mertvoe Ozero (The Dead Lake) in Moscow featuring Evgeny Tsyganov in the lead role.

On the following day at Comic Con, the channel presented a full-length sequel to the popular series Politseysky s Rublyovki (The Policeman from Rublyovka: New Year’s Mayhem) with Alexander Petrov and Sergey Burunov in the lead roles. The sequel will be released in December. The actors Roman Popov, Sofia Kashtanova and Irina Vilkova presented the project to the festival guests.

On the last day of the festival, TV-3 showed a fragment of its large-scale fantasy project Avanpost (Outpost). Director Egor Baranov presented the project. Avanpost will be made up of two full-length parts, the first of which will be released in 2019.

2x2

The TV channel presented a new sitcom made by 2x2 Animation Studio Zhivoy Sredi Chuzih (Alive Among Strangers). The guests of Comic Con were the first in the world to see the animated sitcom half a year before its official premiere.

Zhivoy Sredi Chuzih is a TV series about a young man who survives after a zombie apocalypse in the home of a family of cannibals - his girlfriend’s parents. The series was presented by 2x2 channel’s chief editor Kirill Semiletov.

In addition to these projects, the channel showed the first episode of the third season of the hippest cartoon series in recent years, Rick and Morty, voiced over by popular blogger Dmitry Sayunduk. After the screening, the blogger spoke about the intricacies of translating these series, and also held an autograph session in the 2x2 channel area.

NTV

As part of the launch of a new design project on NTV, Maltseva, festival visitors could learn fascinating details about design, interiors and the organization of living space from the program’s designer-decorator Olga Kharlamova.

The team of the program Chyudo Tekhniki (The Miracle of Technology), together with journalist Igor Terekhov and columnist Alexander Tsygankov, gave a lecture about “Scientific research on games.” On the same day, the host of NashPotrebNadzor (Our Consumer Watch) program Oleg Solntsev held a master class on consumer rights, where he revealed the most popular myths in the industry.

On the final day of the festival, guests dived into a celebration of pop music. Performing on the so-called “stage of villains” as part of NTV’s program Kvartirnik U Margulisa (Margulis House Party), the popular rap singer Legalize sang some of his well-known hits as well as songs from his new album.

Central Partnership

Central Partnership presented the film T-34 at Comic Con - a story about the confrontation between two tank aces, Russian and German. Film actors Anton Bogdanov and Viktor Dobronravov attended the event. They talked to the festival visitors, answered questions from the audience, and also presented the movie trailer.

Moreover, the film company presented its other novelties: the films Gosti (Guests), Tolko Ne Oni (Just Not Them), Bumblebee and Overlord.
