Gazprom-Media Holding - partner of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021

Gazprom-Media Holding, a leading media holding in Russia and Eastern Europe, has become a business program partner for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021), which will be held from 2-5 June. In this role, the Holding will support the Forum’s business program and organise its own events. The Holding has also become a strategic partner of the Creative Business Forum.

One of Gazprom-Media Holding’s main tasks as a partner of the SPIEF-2021 business program will be to provide media coverage of the Forum. NTV channel will be responsible for the large-scale media support of the SPIEF events. As has become tradition, NTV will set up its own studio at the Forum and offer news broadcasts across all media environments. A two-level, multi-format studio will be set up at the NTV stand this year. It will be divided into a live news broadcast zone, interview zone and a technical zone for video editing. The screens of the stand will also function as media surfaces.

This is the first time that the RUTUBE video platform, which was re-launched in April 2021, will be represented at SPIEF. A RUTUBE stand will be set up at the Forum site. Designed as a media cluster and coworking space, the stand will bring together creativity and technology. Stand visitors will be able to use the new platform to make statements and express themselves in a variety of ways. They will see how content is created “here and now” and made available to all.

An evening of professional boxing will also be held in St. Petersburg as part of SPIEF-2021. Spectacular boxing bouts will take place at the Sibur Arena on June 4, with four local boxers set to enter the ring. The Boxing Federation of Russia, the Boxing Federation of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Foundation for the Development of Boxing and Wrestling organised the event. Match TV, a partner of the Boxing Federation, will broadcast the competition.
