Russian Creative Week, the country’s main event for creative industries, will take place from 26-29 August in Moscow’s Gorky Park. The event will bring together representatives from 14 creative industries at a single location, including television, film, new media, design, science and technology, among others. This year there will be company-curators to represent each industry. These are the leaders of their fields in Russia. Gazprom-Media Holding is the curator of the “Film and Television” (together with the National Media Group) and “New Media” industries.

Over the course of four days, the Holding’s creative team will host more than 30 events, including lectures, special-interest meetings, discussions as well as open pitching sessions where creative teams will present their film and new media projects.

Russian Creative Week participants will have a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the television and film industries, and to learn about their unique features from Gazprom-Media company representatives: NTV, TNT, TV-3, Friday! Subbota!, Match TV, 1-2-3 Production, GPM KIT, KIT Film Studio, Central Partnership, PREMIER and RUTUBE, among others.

Moreover, an event called “Kitching” will be held during Russian Creative Week. Organized by GPM KIT Group of Companies, this event will give creative teams an opportunity to present and defend their projects in front of media experts. The pitches will be divided according to two categories, “Creative Teams” and “New Media Content”. A winner will be chosen based on the results of each “Kitching” session. As a prize, the winner will receive a 500,000-ruble contract to develop the creative idea further as well as technical support from Cannon.
