The special interest television channels of Gazprom-Media and the satellite operator NTV-Plus emerged as the winners in five nominations at Zolotoy Luch, the national awards in the field of satellite, cable and Internet television.
The Match! Arena television channel was recognized as the best sports themed channel. The channel is fully dedicated to sports broadcasts - its viewers can watch prestigious international tournaments live on the channel in HD format.
Muzhskoye Kino was celebrated in the category “Best male TV channel,” while the host of Avto Plus channel Roman Schukin won in the nomination “Best host.”
NTV-Plus satellite TV operator received a special prize for the development of paid special interest television, while the group of Match TV sports channels received a special ”Discovery of the year” prize.
