The multiplatform company Shout! Studios (part of Shout! Factory) has acquired all types of rights for North America to the mystical horror directed by Svyatoslav Podgaevsky, Rusalka. Ozero Myortvyh (Mermaid. Lake of the Dead), which was produced by KIT Film Studio (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) and QS Films. At the same time, a deal was made with the British distributor 4Digital Media. Central Partnership is managing the international sales of the film.
The rights to the film were previously acquired by a number of territories, which are represented by such companies as Splendid (German-speaking territories), First International Productions (French-speaking countries), BF Distribution (Latin American countries), Suraya (Malaysia), Moviecloud (Taiwan), Purple Plan (Vietnam) and others.
