The film Gruppa krovi opened the Russian Film Festival in Uzbekistan

The Russian Film Festival, organized by ROSKINO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture, has started in Tashkent. The festival was opened by the tragic war drama Gruppa krovi.

The Gruppa krovi drama, which took a special place in the festival program, is dedicated to the terrible but important pages of the Great Patriotic War: the history of the children’s donor concentration camp in Vyritsa. The film had already been released in Russian cinemas and has received audience attention. In Tashkent, it was presented by actress Ekaterina Domashenko as part of a group of Russian filmmakers.

«Gruppa krovi is a very powerful, tragic story about true heroism, selflessness, and mutual assistance. I am very glad that in the year of the 80th anniversary of victory, this film will be seen not only in Russia but also in Uzbekistan. The Gruppa krovi film was created as part of the “No Statute of Limitations” federal project by the Triiks Media film company with the support of the Film Fund, Gazprom-Media Holding, the Russian Military Historical Society, and the Movement of the First.

Film screenings organized by ROSKINO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture will become part of the Days of Russian Culture program in Uzbekistan. The festival program, which will last until May 31 in Tashkent, will also feature war and historical films, family comedies, and biographical dramas.
