On November 26, the film company Central Partnership (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) sold the broadcasting rights to the fantasy thriller Avanpost (The Outpost), directed by Yegor Baranov, to 25 countries around the world. The film’s producers, Valery Fyodorovich and Evgeny Nikishov, made the announcement about the deal. The action thriller was made by PREMIER Studios together with TV-3 channel.
The fantasy thriller Avanpost is set in the near future. As a result of an identified cataclysm, connection is lost with almost the entire planet. There is life remaining only in the European part of Russia and several of the nearby countries. The survivors, military personnel and journalists, have to figure out what happened and take part in a large-scale battle for the fate of humankind.
Pyotr Fedorov, Alexey Chadov, Lukerya Ilyashenko, Svetlana Ivanova, Ksenia Kutepova and Konstantin Lavronenko played the lead roles in the film.
