The Russian War Film Festival will open in Beijing on September 6. Central Partnership (part of Gazprom-Media Holding), China Film Group and Saosian film company organised the event with the support of Russia’s Ministry of Culture and the Russian Embassy in China.

The festival will be held in two cities. From 6-10 September it will take place in Beijing and from 8-12 in Changsha, the largest city in China’s Hunan province. The films that will be shown at the festival with the support of Central Partnership are notable modern productions. Some are already well known while others are brand new ones that were just released in movie theatres. The film lineup includes Zoya, Podolskie Kursanty (Podolsk Cadets), T-34, Rubezh (The Frontier), Match, Vysota 89 (Height 89).
