Several stars of the Russian music industry made cameo appearances in the first Russian musical dramedy Soldout. These include the leaders of the legendary rock band Bi-2, Khamil (Kasta rap group) and the hip hop singer Thomas Mraz, among others. PREMIER video service will release the Soldout series in 2021.
Valeriy Fedorovich, Evgeny Nikishov (Epidemiya/To the Lake, Pereval Dyatlova/Dead Mountain: The Dyatlov Pass Incident, and others), Sergei Kornikhin, Konstantin Mayer and Nikolai Kulikov (Ya Khudeu/On a Diet, Tolya-Robot/Tolya is a Robot) are producing the series for PREMIER. Ivan Plechev is directing the project.
Soldout tells the story of a young rapper in the midst of a crisis as he fights against the rules of a major music label.
