Gazprom-Media Holding Legal Department Wins “Best Legal Departments of Russia” Competition

In order to improve corporate governance efficiency at Gazprom-Media Holding, it was decided in 2020 to build a unified automated system for the legal function. As planned, at the first stage, the system was designed to reduce time for compiling corporate documents significantly and eliminate the risk of technical errors. As a result, an expert council consisting of 21 heads of legal departments of large companies and law firms, such as Pepeliaev Group, VimpelCom, Rostelecom, Rusal, recognized us as the best in the “Effective Corporate Governance” category with the project “Automation of Legal Holding Functions”. It was a worthy victory against strong competitors: Concern Rosenergoatom, RusHydro and Goznak. I would like to point out that the project “Automation of Legal Functions” is the result of work of a cross-functional team of lawyers, IT and a holding corporate development department. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate my colleagues on a worthy victory and high appreciation of our work results by the professional community.
