The film, dedicated to the heroism of orphans during the Great Patriotic War, was shown at the first Russian film festival in Bahrain, which took place in Manama from September 18-20.
The film, produced by the Triiks Media film company, was created with the support of the Cinema Fund, Gazprom-Media Holding, the Russian Military Historical Society, and the Movement of the First. Gruppa krovi portrays the events during the occupation of Leningrad Region by Nazi invaders, when children’s donor concentration camps operated on its territory. At the center of the plot is the story of one such camp located in the village of Vyritsa.
The festival was organized by ROSKINO with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Russian Embassy in Bahrain, and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.

The film was also included in the program of the “Night of Cinema” international event, during which screenings were held in 37 countries, and it opened the Russian film festival in Uzbekistan.
