Subscribers of the TNT-PREMIER video service will have access to the new TV series Uchitelya (Teachers) as of August 22. The series were created by screenwriter and director Ilya Kulikov, and producers Valery Fyodorovich and Evgeny Nikishov. This creative team is well-known to TNT-PREMIER’s subscribers and TNT viewers from such popular TV shows as Politseysky s Rublyovki (Policeman from Rublevka), Chernobyl. Zona Otchuzhdeniya (Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone), and Zakon Kamennyh Djunglei (Rules of the Stone Jungle).
Uchitelya is a drama series that tells the true tale of the most in-demand profession in Russia. The plot centers on the relationships in the family of one official from the Ministry of Education.
Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Irina Starshenbaum and Anna Kotova-Deryabina play the lead roles in the series. Sofya Kashtanova, the star of the Politseysky s Rublyovki series, recorded the soundtrack for the project.
