Vne Sebya (Beyond Oneself), a surrealist thriller with black comedy elements, was included in the prestigious Forum Exclusives section at the Series Mania international festival for TV content, which will be held in Lille, France from 30 August to 1 September. The film company 1-2-3 Production made the series for TNT channel, with Valeriy Fedorovich and Evgeny Nikishov acting as its producers. The Forum Exclusives section features series with the greatest marketing potential, as determined by the festival’s selection committee.
The Vne Sebya series, filmed on an order from TNT channel, tells the story of a brilliant financier who has a strange diagnosis. He suffers from blackouts and is haunted by the “phantoms” of his late wife and her lover who committed suicide by gunshot. To heal and get custody of his five-year-old son, the protagonist starts to investigate his wife’s death. In the process, his life takes an unexpected turn.
