The Boxing Federation of St. Petersburg and Radio Zenit signed a partnership agreement on April 8, 2021 with the aim to develop and popularise sport. The radio station will cover the next event that the Boxing Federation is organising in an exclusive status.

Upon the signing of the partnership agreement, the Boxing Federation’s deputy head Maxim Kuvachev spoke at length on the air of Radio Zenit about the Federation’s activities, its current tasks and plans. He also shared information about the biggest boxing tournament in Russia’s northern capital, the international St. Petersburg Governor’s Cup. The tournament will be held on April 19-24, 2021.

The tournament will bring together the world’s strongest boxers from more than 15 countries, including athletes from Russia, Cuba, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Scotland, Thailand, the Netherlands, Morocco, and other countries. This year the tournament promises to be one of the biggest and most memorable sporting events, and Radio Zenit will be the only official media outlet to cover the event among all radio stations.
