Friday! TV channel project makes it into the Top 3 of the international contest Pitch & Play live
The project Bliznetsy (Twins) of Friday! TV channel is among the Top 3 best original television formats at the international contest Pitch & Play live.
The final vote will take place in Budapest on June 27, where the winner of the contest will be announced. The projects will be evaluated by world experts of the television business from Sony Pictures Television Networks CE, FILM.UA Group and Mediaset.
The aim of Pitch & Play live is to find original television formats from Central and Eastern Europe. The jury recognized Bliznetsy in three categories: originality, universality (flexibility to change and grow), internationality (possibility to adapt the format for use in other countries).
The Friday! channel’s project Bliznetsy is an incredible show about twins. Girls, who look identical to each other, undergo a complete transformation and change beyond recognition thanks to professional makeup artists and stylists.
Several other projects from the channel also made it into the Top-15 of the Pitch & Play live contest in addition to the format of Bliznetsy. They include Nasledniki (Heirs), Makeupery (Makeup Artists), and Rehab.
Formats from other Gazprom-Media channels were also among the finalists, including Vsyo, Krome Obychnogo (Everything but the Usual) from TV-3, Pesni (Songs) from TNT, Dengi ili Pozor (Money or Shame) from TNT4, and NTV’s Sekret na Million (A Secret Worth a Million) and DNK (DNA).
