The Okko multimedia service will premiere the original historical series Sobor (The Cathedral), made by KIT Film Studio, on November 4. The serial drama looks at the lives of people during a time of major changes in Russian history - the most famous period of Peter the Great’s reign, from 1700 to 1725 - and the key events of that era. At the centre of the plot is a story of love and choices that the main characters have to make in the context of sweeping reforms and the transformation of the Russian state into an empire.
